I bought Alocasia Black Velvet on September 26, 2020. Initially, Alocasia Black Velvet was planted in pots with a diameter of 10cm. Immediately after receiving this plant, I performed repotting for Alocasia Black Velvet
How to repot Alocasia Black Velvet

After Alocasia Black Velvet was repotted. I placed the tree under a net to reduce the light by 50%.
27/09/2020:
I found out that there is an unusual sign of Alocasia Black Velvet leaf. The leaves are yellow. It seems that this plant has been attacked by a spider mite.
I have refer to an article: How to Get Rid of Spider Mites on Plants, Her polly alocasia is also similar.
The plants most susceptible to mite attack have broad, thin leaves (like Musa or Dieffenbachia) instead of small, fleshy ones (like Crassula or Hoya). Certain families are apparently also a lot tastier than others; the Araliaceae, Marantaceae, and Apocynaceae seem to be particularly delicious.
